About PES, Inc.
The History of the T.A.C.T. programs dates back to the early 1980's. The founder and co-owner of PES, Inc. was involved in statewide training of crisis prevention within the State of Florida (ACT, TEAM) through FMHI -Florida Mental Health Institute at the University of South Florida. The development of the T.A.C.T. program stems from years of research and development through extensive time spent in each specialized setting in order to evaluate the least restrictive and safest interventions at every level of care. Over the course of time the programs have continued to be modified to meet the ongoing changes and requirements of governing bodies(CMS/JCAHO). Specialized training programs were developed to assist in the greater understanding of each setting and client needs. This process has greatly enhanced staff's awareness of client needs and assists in the development of individualized crisis management plans.
